Abstract:As a junior faculty member specializing in coagulation and platelet function at a medical school, I hold a firm conviction that scientific research encompasses not merely the exploration of uncharted domains, but also constitutes a legacy imbued with warmth—this manifests in the transmission of experimental methodologies, the intergenerational succession of scientific inquiries, and the enduring perpetuation of a rigorous, truth-seeking academic ethos. The three consecutive publications in the Journal of Medical Biomechanics over the past two years by the graduate students under my mentorship serve as compelling evidence of the synergistic integration between such a legacy and innovative advancement.
