The 10th National Conference on Biomechanics and 12th National Conference on Biorheology

Call for Papers

Sponsored by Biomechanics Committee of the Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics/Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering, co-organized by Orthodontics Committee of Chinese Stomatological Association, undertaken by Sichuan University, the 10th National Conference on Biomechanics and 12th National Conference on Biorheology will be held in Oct. 2012, in Chengdu.

1 Report form and proceeding publication

The conference will report new research findings in the field of biomechanics and biorheology in the form of invited speech, topic speech and general report, etc.

The abstracts of the meeting will be compiled as proceedings to be published in supplement of Journal of Medical Biomechanics.

2 Scopes of the conference

The scope of the conference mainly include cellular-molecular biomechanics, mechanobioloy, vascular biomechanics and hemodynamics, skeleton-muscle system biomechanics, application of biomechanics in tissue engineering, biomaterials, rehabilitation engineering, regenerative medicine, organ biomechanics, mechanics and bionic mechanics of biomaterials, biorheology and hemorheology, clinical hemorheology, orthodontic biomechanics, etc. Contributions from other research field of biomechanics and biorheology are also welcomed.

3 Requirements for abstract submission

Please log onto the conference website http://acem.scu.edu.cn/olpost/index.asp to submit the abstract. For individual authors who truly have difficulty in online submission, they can send the abatract as attachemetn to Ms. LV Shou-qin in Center of Biomechanis and Bioengineering, Institue of Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
