The award ceremony of 2014 Wu Jieping Medicine Prize was held in Zhongshan city of Guangdong province, on Nov. 29, 2014. Academician Dai Kerong, famous orthopedic expert, and Academician Wu Tianyi, High Altitude Medical expert, received the prize.

Established in 2007 by Wu Jieping Medical Foundation, Wu Jieping Medicine Prize was honored as Nobel Prize in the medical field of China. Academician Dai was the founder and head of orthopedic department and orthopedic lab of Shanghai Ninth People’s Hospital. He has been actively promoting the orthopedic translational medical research, making outstanding achievements in clinical application of individualized prosthesis, cell therapy, etc. He is also the editor-in- chief of Journal of Medical Biomechanics and editorial members of many international journals.
